Crikvenica lies on the Kvarner Bay, 33 km from Rijeka. It is a string of small seaside resorts – Jadranovo, Dramalj, Crikvenica and Selce – and good connections with the rest of Europe have given it more than a century of tourism tradition.

Eight kilometres of sand and pebble beaches, seaside walking paths and Mediterranean greenery are there for every visitor to enjoy. The sea is clean and clear: swimming is on eco-managed beaches, and Crikvenica has been awarded three Blue Flags, the European mark for clean seas.
